Early (Barnack) Leica Offset Mount
Early screw-mount Leica cameras have a shutter speed dial that is very close to the cold shoe. To turn the shutter speed dial, it has to be lifted up before it can rotate. This causes a problem when using the Reveni Labs Light Meter because the meter prevents the dial from being lifted. The solution is this, an accessory that shifts the meter to either the left or the right by 3/8” (10mm) to provide the clearance needed.
Thanks to everyone who let me know of this issue, as I have never owned or used an early Leica camera so I didn’t know about this possible interference problem.
